The apartment is wonderfully located on the French Riveria, in Nice (near Cannes), closed to Italy in the unique historic part of Nice: Old Nice, in the ruelle Saint Francois (small and bright street) by the Place Saint Francois, at about 5 minutes walk to the Mediterranean Sea and the famous "Promenade des Anglais" (along the sea). The loft is in the center of all entertainments (although the apartment is quiet), cultural events and activities, antique et food markets, restaurants and small cafes, gourmet food, all kind of shopping, museums, opera, bookstores, theaters, cinemas, art galleries, etc… and near all transportation. Also the renovated Saint Francois indoor swimming pool is located next street.
Easy Accesses: There are conveniently two ways to access the apartment: Either by the small pedestrian charming little streets (called ruelles) of the Old Nice, Or along the promenade, Boulevard Jean Jaurès, near to the tram, all transportations, paying parking, and easy accesses to exit the city if you would like to visit around Nice by car, by buses or train.
At 200 meters from the apartment, the tram (stop: Cathedrale Vielle-ville) will take you to the train station in 4 stops, and to the airport in 20 minutes with the bus #98, just crossing the Boulevard Jean Jaures, bus stop by the Lycee Massena.
Apartment : Charming 1 BR Loft, 40 Square meter, or 430 Square Feet, renovated, nicely furnished (antique and modern) and fully equipped, bright and quiet, easy 4th floor walk-up building. Double exposures, living room: south-west, bedroom and bathroom: north-east. Natural cross ventilation and fan. Internet connection. HIFI, TV, DVD.
Living/dining room : Very bright and sunny with 2 windows (double glasses) overlooking the roofs of Old Nice, the Saint François' small street and Square . Furnished with two small coaches (non convertible), a coffee table, antique dining table, chairs, antique wood buffet, shelves, curtains, lamps, baskets.
Kitchen : type kitchenette (small open kitchen) furnished and equipped with a refrigerator, small oven, cooking surface, washing machine, well equipped: Crockery, pots and pans, etc...
Bedroom : Quiet bedroom area on the back with small window towards small courtyard, bed 140 x 190 (queen size bed, 2 people), lamp, closet and shelves.
Bathroom : Shower "Italian style", toilette, closet, with small window, well ventilated

Nice and the area

Nice has beautiful promenades, parks and gardens, walk paths, and of course precious landmarks and history, as well as cultural life.
Many painters, like Matisse, came to capture the beauty of the landscapes and light.
Around Nice: The apartment will be a good base to visit prestigious cities, like Cannes, Monaco, typical villages and a wide variety of beaches. Also, the wonderful back country, Provence, hills and mountains, the great parks in Nice and around, the famous Mercantour National Parc. You will have many wonderful opportunities for relaxing walks or more athletic hiking, where the beautiful landscapes and light captured by so many painters, will reveal to you. And during winter, if you like skiing, ski resorts are really very near: Valdeblore, Valberg, Isola 2000, at 80 to 90 kilometers. In essence, you will have a huge range of possible choices for your vacation and will be very closed to the nature, with or without car.
